Goldilocks and Just the One Bear

Once upon a time, there was this bear.
One minute, he was lolloping about in the wood all happy-go-lucky... The next minute, he hadn't a crumb-of-a-clue where he was.
He was one COMPLETELY lost bear.

Just two words come to mind when I read this book.

In fact, I'm thinking that this might just be my new Favourite Book Ever!

"What's so good about it?" you may ask. Well, I'll tell you.

The illustrations are superfantastical - very contemporary and bright and full of Leigh's hallmark arrows and collagey bits and wonky perspectives.

The story is snort-out-loud funny, especially when the poor bear tries to find something to eat, something to sit on and somewhere to sleep.  I'm very tempted to tell you some of the silly things he does, but it would totally spoil the surprise, so you'll just have to go out and buy it!

If BookARoo gave stars, this one would get 15 and a half out of 10.
